According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, a 53-year-old man sought medical assistance after being injured in the attack. Medical personnel diagnosed the victim with explosive trauma and shrapnel wounds to his back. He was provided with necessary care and will continue his recovery as an outpatient.

Civilian infrastructure hit in Chernihiv region

Simultaneously, the northern Chernihiv region came under attack from Russian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), leaving one person injured and causing localized property damage.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (DSNS) reported that the drone strikes sparked fires in two separate districts within the region. In Novhorod-Siverskyi district, a kinetic strike caused a civilian vehicle to catch fire. Meanwhile, in Koriukivka district, a drone impact ignited a fire in a residential building.

Operative rescue units and firefighters were deployed to the impact zones and extinguished both blazes, preventing further damage to adjacent properties.

Ballistic assault on Kyiv

The morning drone strikes followed an overnight bombardment of the capital.
