The librarian at Kibbutz Magen couldn't understand why thieves from the Gaza Strip had stolen her list of readers' names. The members of nearby Moshav Amioz raised an eyebrow when interlopers from Gaza simply ate the cholent straight from the oven and stole nothing else. And at Moshav Tkuma, people wondered why their neighbors from across the border were interested in a purple Torah-scroll covering, which they took back to the Strip.
