The IDF Spokesperson issued an evacuation order for residents in the area south of the Zahrani River in southern Lebanon.
According to the post on X media, the Israeli army is expected to attack the area, urging residents to evacuate their homes immediately.

The IDF said its forces have reached the Beaufort Castle area in southern Lebanon and are establishing a presence there. According to the military, the operation to capture the area lasted several days and involved large numbers of ground troops.
The army also said Israeli forces have crossed the Litani River and are operating north of it, adding that troops continue to carry out operations in other areas of Lebanon.
U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with Fox News that Iran's military has not been targeted as aggressively as other parts of the regime because Washington views it as "somewhat moderate."
Trump said Iran's military has largely been spared because the U.S. views it as "somewhat moderate," adding that while Iran's navy and air force are "totally gone," Washington deliberately avoided targeting the military as aggressively because wiping out "everybody" could leave a country unable to rebuild for generations.

Separately, The New York Times reported that Trump has sent Iran a tougher version of a proposed framework agreement aimed at ending the war. According to the report, Trump has been frustrated by the pace of Iran's response and concerned about provisions that could involve unfreezing Iranian funds. The newspaper said the revised proposal may be intended to pressure Tehran into accepting a framework under which the U.S.-Israeli military campaign would end in exchange for Iran lifting its blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, while more contentious issues, including the future of Iran's nuclear program, would be left for later negotiations. U.S. Southern Command said a joint task force carried out a lethal strike on Saturday against a vessel operated by designated terrorist organizations in the eastern Pacific. According to the report, intelligence indicated the vessel was traveling along narcotics trafficking routes and engaged in drug trafficking operations. Three male "narco-terrorists" were killed in the strike, and no U.S. personnel were injured. The International Atomic Energy Agency said it was informed that a Russian drone struck the turbine hall building at Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, reportedly leaving a hole in the structure's wall. IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi expressed serious concern over the incident, warning that any attack on a nuclear facility undermines the safety principles designed to protect the site during wartime. The agency's inspectors at the plant have requested access to the affected area to independently assess the damage. No damage to the reactors, radiation release or immediate risk to the public has been reported. ■ The IDF warned of possible increased fire from Lebanon as Hezbollah expanded rocket and drone attacks, with a Hezbollah-affiliated source saying the group is responding to deeper Israeli operations in southern Lebanon and seeking to establish a new "deterrence equation." ■ Lebanon's Health Ministry said Israeli strikes killed 16 people and wounded 34 over the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll since fighting resumed in March to 3,371. ■ U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said talks with Iran have been "productive" while stressing that the U.S. naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz remains in place; CENTCOM said it disabled a vessel attempting to violate the blockade. ■ An Associated Press report cited Israeli soldiers who said Palestinian civilians continued to be killed in Gaza after the October cease-fire, describing permissive rules of engagement near Israeli-controlled areas. ■ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was set to hold a security assessment Saturday night focused on developments in Lebanon, according to a source familiar with the matter. Salam’s comments came amid the now-revealed IDF operation of crossing the Litani River, where it successfully secured the Beaufort Ridge and Wadi al-Saluki areas of southern Lebanon. The conviction came as part of a plea agreement between the parties. The two residents, Hussein Ghanayem and Abd al-Rahim Hamida, allegedly planned to throw an explosive device at an IDF base.
