Iran's chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has called for massive turnout at Ali Khamenei's funeral to avenge the supreme leader's death in US-Israeli strikes at the start of the war.
"I invite all the Iranian people... to write a glorious page in the history of Islamic Iran through your presence" at the funeral ceremonies starting Saturday, Ghalibaf said in a statement, adding: "The nation's call for vengeance must ring in the ears of the whole world."
The new parliament has 140 elected seats and 70 appointed by the president.
The report cited an Iraqi Kurdish official who attributed the measures as a response to the smuggling of US dollars by Iran-backed Iraqi militias.
The case has unfolded across a decade of investigations, indictments, elections, governments, protest movements, wars, and institutional battles.
Taiwan says it needs to bolster its defenses in the face of a stepped-up threat from China, which claims the island as its own territory.
