On Memorial Day, Cafe Shapira hosted a screening of the Joint Israeli-Palestinian Memorial Day ceremony. About 100 people, mostly residents of south Tel Aviv's Shapira neighborhood, sat in the courtyard next to the cafe and watched the ceremony.
