Battlefield sees 249 clashes in one day, heaviest fighting on Pokrovsk and Huliaipole fronts – Ukraine's General Staff

A total of 249 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day, with the Russians conducting their most intense attacks on the Pokrovsk, Huliaipole and Sloviansk fronts.

Details: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, three combat clashes were recorded. The Russians conducted 86 strikes on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including six from multiple-launch rocket systems.

On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, the Russians conducted eight attacks on Ukrainian positions near the village of Starytsia and towards Izbytske, Karaichne and Vilcha.

On the Kupiansk front, six Russian attacks occurred towards the settlements of Podoly and Novoplatonivka.

On the Lyman front, the Russians tried to break through Ukrainian defences 21 times, attacking near the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Zarichne and Yampil and towards Stavky, Drobysheve and Lyman.

On the Sloviansk front, the Russians conducted 28 assaults near the settlements of Zakitne, Kalenyky and Riznykivka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.

On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians conducted 15 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Rusyn Yar, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka and towards Mykolaipillia.

On the Pokrovsk front, Ukraine's defence forces stopped 33 Russian assault and offensive actions near the settlements of Shakhove, Dorozhnie, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne and Filiia and towards Vilne, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Biliakivka, Kucheriv Yar, Serhiivka, Shevchenko and Muravka.

On the Oleksandrivka front, Ukrainian defenders repelled six Russian attacks near the settlements of Vorone, Ternove and Kalynivske and towards Verbove and Nove Zaporizhzhia.

On the Huliaipole front, the Russians conducted 30 attacks near the settlements of Dobropillia and Zaliznychne and towards Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Novoselivka, Tsvitkove and Charivne.

Over the past day, Ukraine's Air Force and Rocket Forces and Artillery struck five clusters of Russian personnel, two artillery systems and four command posts.
