US Central Command (CENTCOM) said its forces completed their latest round of attacks against Iran.
It said that around 90 Iranian military targets were hit by strikes meant to "further degrade Iran's ability to attack commercial shipping and innocent civilian mariners in the Strait of Hormuz".
"We did not ask anyone's permission to enter Lebanon, and we do not need permission to stay in Lebanon," Katz stated.
US officials believe the conflict could last from several days to weeks, depending on whether Iran continues attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, Axios reported.
"I just don't know if they're worthy of making a deal," Trump told reporters on Air Force One after the NATO summit in Turkey. "I don't know that they're going to honor the deal; that's the problem."
