The death toll from the Russian missile strike on the town of Merefa in Kharkiv Oblast on 4 May has risen to eight.

Details:Syniehubov also reported that Russian forces had attacked Kharkiv and 15 settlements across the oblast on 6 May.
Eight people were injured as a result of the attacks.
In Kharkiv, two women aged 48 and 52 and two men aged 49 and 56 were injured. In the village of Pysarivka in the Zolochiv hromada, two men aged 49 and 25 and a 48-year-old woman were injured. In the settlement of Slatyne in the Derhachi hromada, a 53-year-old woman was injured. The Russians attacked the Novobavarskyi, Saltivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv.
Russian forces used various types of weaponry: six guided aerial bombs, five Geran-2 drones, one Lancet drone, seven Molniya drones, five FPV drones and 18 UAVs of an unidentified type.
In Kharkiv, eight houses were damaged. Damage was also recorded in the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium and Kharkiv districts.
