Explosions heard in Konotop as Russian attack damages houses and hospital, transport halted
Russian strikes on Konotop damaged residential buildings and a hospital, forcing authorities to suspend all public transport.

The city of Konotop in Sumy Oblast has come under a Russian attack, with residential buildings, a hospital, office facilities and tram infrastructure damaged. All transport services have been temporarily suspended.

Quote: "Explosion after explosion… Damage to residential buildings has been recorded… The tram network has been damaged. Tram No. 2 will temporarily not run to the Zhytlomasyv district until repairs are completed."
Details: Semenikhin later added that office buildings and the central district hospital had also been damaged.
"A pair of Shahed drones is already over the city. All transport in the city has been suspended," he wrote.
Update: Later, Semenikhin said that part of the energy infrastructure in Konotop had been destroyed, leaving some parts of the city without electricity.
"In one of the districts, water supply will be supplied on a schedule from 06:00 to 09:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00," he said.
