An Israeli attack on the village of Barish in southern Lebanon killed four members of the same family, according to the Lebanese National News Agency, in what they described as a “massacre”.
This comes despite Israel purportedly agreeing to a ceasefire just one day earlier.
At least five people were killed in an Israeli air strike on the southern Lebanese town of Arabsalim on Saturday morning, Lebanon's state news agency NNA reported.
The cause of the incident was not immediately known, and transport minister Heidi Alexander said an investigation was underway.
