Iran’s military said it carried out a drone attack targeting Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport using an Arash-2 drone, according to local media.
Previous reports during the conflict have indicated damage near the airport from missile interceptions rather than direct strikes.
The Arash-2 is a long-range Iranian attack drone designed for precision strikes at distances of about 2,000 kilometres.
“My homeland is like my mother. If until yesterday, I had a duty to play on the field, from today I am obliged to be in the street beside the people of my country,” she said.
The batch of recruits for March-April 2026 is expected to consist of thousands of soldiers, including those drafting into combat roles.
Both Bahrain and Washington have blamed an Iranian drone attack for the March 9 blast, which the Gulf kingdom said injured 32 people, including children, some seriously.
