In early June, the jet-setting Transportation Minister Miri Regev participated in an out-of-control feuilleton befitting of the satirist Ephraim Kishon: dedicating street lamps on a road in the Lachish region. Yes, street lamps. A podium was constructed, a gazebo was set up and a huge blue-and-white sign was hung as the backdrop.
