Justice Minister Yariv Levin met about a year ago with the wives of two senior Israeli police officers facing criminal proceedings, according to his official schedule, one of whom has been charged with obstructing an investigation after throwing her husband's phone into the sea to prevent its seizure by the Justice Ministry department that investigates allegations of police misconduct.
