The Israeli health ministry on Wednesday said that 204 injured people have been taken to hospitals in the past 24 hours, as a result of the conflict with Iran, bringing the number of hospitalisations due to the fighting to over 5,000.
The ministry says that since the beginning of the war with Iran on 28 February, more than 5,000 people have been admitted to hospitals, 120 of whom are currently hospitalised.
The ministry does not give a breakdown of the causes of injuries, and some might be sustained by people trying to reach shelter rather than as a direct result of missile fire from Iran or rocket fire from Lebanon.
