A Ukrainian drone strike killed two adults and their 12-year-old child in the Alexandrovsky District of Russia’s Vladimir region, the region’s governor, Alexander Avdeyev, said.
One of the drones struck a two-unit residential building, Avdeyev said. The couple also had a 5-year-old daughter, who is staying with relatives. A fire that broke out after the strike has been extinguished.
Ukrainian drones also struck the Voronezh and Leningrad regions overnight.
In the Voronezh region, 16 drones were detected and destroyed overnight, Governor Alexander Gusev said. A 40-year-old man was injured when one of the downed drones came down and was taken to the hospital with burns. A facility at one of the region’s industrial enterprises was damaged and production halted, Gusev added, without identifying the enterprise. In the Leningrad region, at least 22 Ukrainian drones were shot down, Governor Alexander Drozdenko said, without reporting any casualties or damage.
