On April 2, 230 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders were recorded along the frontline.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook in its update as of 08:00 on Friday, April 3.
The enemy carried out 63 airstrikes, dropping 213 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,058 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,788 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including 104 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Russian aircraft struck areas near the settlements of Kolomiitsi, Zelena Dolyna, Pidhavrylivka, Prosiana, Oleksandrivka, and Katerynivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Liubytske, Omelnyk, Barvinivka, Dolynka, Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Omelnyk, Shyroke, Kopani, Rivne, Novoselivka, Orikhiv, and Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Ukraine's Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck four areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, one logistics hub, and one command post of Russian forces.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, three combat clashes with Russian troops were recorded. The enemy carried out one airstrike, dropped four bombs, and conducted 100 shelling attacks, including four using MLRS.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces attempted five times to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near Starytsia and Veterynarne.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops launched seven attacks toward Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Novoosynove.
In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions eight times, attempting to penetrate Ukrainian defenses toward Nadiia, Novoserhiivka, Novoiehorivka, Stavky, Lyman, and Drobysheve.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled five attempts by Russian troops to advance near Rai-Oleksandrivka and Platonivka.
No offensive actions were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 19 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Berestok, Stepanivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, and toward Mykolaipillia.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled 58 assault actions near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiia, and toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novopidhrodnie, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked 21 times near Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Vorone, Krasnohirsk, and toward Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sosnivka, Stepove, Vyshneve, and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole sector, 40 Russian attacks were recorded toward Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, Pryluky, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Solodke, Myrne, Zelene, Huliaipilske, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces carried out 13 attacks near Mali Shcherbaky, Shcherbaky, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, and toward Novodanylivka, Lukianivske, and Prymorske.
In the Dnipro River sector, Ukrainian forces repelled two Russian assault attempts toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
No signs of the formation of offensive groupings by Russian forces were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
