In a shocking display of disconnectedness at a time when Israelis nationwide are running to shelters due to missile attacks, the Knesset, after a full night of debate, passed a law that has nothing to do with rocket-proofing, compensating the victims or reserve duty. Rather, it's a law to expand the powers of the religious courts. This law will harm the entire public, especially women.
