Injury toll in Russian attack on Kyiv region rises to 15, including 9-month-old baby

The number of people injured in Russia’s overnight attack on the Kyiv region has risen to 15, including a nine-month-old baby, 11 of the injured people have been hospitalized.

Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk reported this on Telegram, as cited by Ukrinform.

He added that emergency and specialized services continue to work on eliminating the consequences of the massive attack across the region.

The most difficult situation has been reported in the town of Vyshneve in the Bucha district, where there is a risk of secondary detonation of explosive objects near the impact site. The area has been cordoned off by police. Residents have been urged to remain in safe locations and avoid approaching the affected zone.

Police and rescue services are carrying out evacuations where necessary.

Rail traffic has been partially adjusted for safety reasons, with reserve routes introduced on several sections.

Authorities continue to operate in an enhanced emergency mode and are urging residents to heed air-raid alerts, follow official instructions, and avoid handling any suspicious objects, instead reporting them to emergency services.

Earlier reports indicated one person had been killed and ten injured in the Kyiv region during the attack.
