Russian troops fired multiple-launch rocket systems at the Central district of Kherson this morning.
According to Ukrinform, Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
At least two private homes and a garage were destroyed by direct hits, and houses throughout the entire neighborhood sustained damage. A man was killed when one of the buildings collapsed on him, and efforts to identify him are currently underway.
A 65-year-old man and a 64-year-old woman were also injured. They suffered post-concussion syndrome, blast injuries, and closed head injuries. The woman was taken to the hospital in moderate condition, while the man received medical assistance on the scene.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army attacked 38 settlements in the Kherson region over the past day. Eight people were wounded.
