The interview, which ran four hours and 42 minutes, was posted to Dud’s YouTube channel on April 2.
Kapustin has been convicted in absentia in Russia and sentenced to life in prison on charges related to crimes against public safety and state authority, the Investigative Committee said. The agency also said the interview contained positive assessments of banned “anti-human” ideologies and showed signs of promoting violence against people on the basis of ethnicity.
Investigative Committee chief Alexander Bastrykin has directed the agency’s Main Investigative Directorate to review the published material.
