In the Poltava region, two people were killed, and the injury toll increased to 14—including six children—as a result of yesterday’s attack by the Russian Federation.
According to Ukrinform, Vitalii Diakivnych, head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“Yesterday, the enemy attacked the Poltava district. The premises of two enterprises were hit,” Dyakivnych wrote.
According to him, the Russian strikes damaged the enterprises’ buildings and vehicles, as well as nearby residential buildings.
“The number of injured has increased to 13 people, including 6 children. Unfortunately, a body was found under the rubble. Another person died in the hospital,” the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration noted.
He added that the enemy attack caused an emergency power outage. Specialists are working to restore power.
According to the State Emergency Service, 14 people were injured. In the Poltava community, fires broke out at several industrial sites as a result of Russian attacks. Rescue workers quickly extinguished the fires.
As previously reported, on June 20, the Russian army struck the premises of one of the enterprises in the Poltava district.
It later turned out that 11 people, including four children, were injured in Poltava as a result of the shelling.
