Battlefield sees 273 clashes over past day, 39 of them on Pokrovsk front – Ukraine's General Staff
A total of 273 combat clashes were recorded along the line of contact on 2 July. Russian forces launched their highest number of attacks on the Pokrovsk front, where Ukrainian defenders repelled 39 assaults. Another 32 attacks were stopped on the Huliaipole front and 30 on the Sloviansk front.

A total of 273 combat clashes have occurred on the battlefield over the past day. The Russians launched the largest number of attacks on the Pokrovsk front, where the defence forces repelled 39 assaults. Ukrainian soldiers stopped another 32 Russian attacks on the Huliaipole front and 30 on the Sloviansk front.

On the North Slobozhanshchyna front and in the operational zone in Russia's Kursk Oblast, six combat clashes occurred. The Russians launched three airstrikes, using four guided bombs, and conducted 61 strikes on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, including four from multiple-launch rocket systems.
On the South Slobozhanshchyna front, Ukrainian units repelled 22 Russian attacks. The Russians tried to advance near the settlements of Izbytske and Starytsia and towards Volokhivka, Staryi Khutir, Hranov, Kudiivka, Symynivka and Khatnie.
On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces conducted two attacks towards the village of Novoosynove.
On the Lyman front, Ukrainian forces repelled Russian attempts to penetrate the defences. The Russians conducted seven attacks near the settlements of Dibrova and Lyman and towards Novoselivka.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russians conducted 30 assaults, trying to advance near the settlements of Riznykivka, Zakitne and Kryva Luka and towards Rai-Oleksandrivka.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian troops did not conduct any offensive operations.
On the Kostiantynivka front, the Russians conducted 17 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka and Illinivka and towards Raiske.
On the Pokrovsk front, the highest number of assaults was recorded. Ukrainian defenders stopped 39 Russian attacks. The Russians were active near the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Bilytske and Rodynske and towards Myrne, Toretske, Shevchenko, Filiia, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, Dorozhnie, Svitle, Hryshyne, Kotlyne and Udachne.
On the Oleksandrivka front, the Russians conducted two attacks towards the settlements of Ternove and Yehorivka.
On the Huliaipole front, Russian forces conducted 32 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillia, Novoselivka and Huliaipilske and towards Rizdvianka, Kopani, Shyroke, Tsvitkove and Charivne.
On the Orikhiv and Prydniprovske fronts, the Russians did not conduct any offensive operations.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, there is no evidence of any offensive Russian groups being formed in the area.
