Five killed and 18 injured in Russian attacks on three Ukrainian oblasts over past day
Five people were killed and 18 injured in Russian attacks on Kharkiv, Donetsk and Mykolaiv oblasts on 16 March.

Five people were killed and 18 injured in Russian attacks on Kharkiv, Donetsk and Mykolaiv oblasts on 16 March.

Details: It is noted that the total number of those who were killed in Donetsk Oblast is given without taking Mariupol and Volnovakha into account.
In Kharkiv Oblast, 10 people were injured as a result of attacks. In the city of Kharkiv, three men aged 61, 52 and 54 were injured, while another 34-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction.
Other residents of the region were also injured: a 75-year-old woman in the village of Martove; women aged 84 and 70 and a 74-year-old man in the village of Prosianka; a 48-year-old woman near the village of Myrne; and a 65-year-old man near Horokhovatka. Doctors also treated a 68-year-old man who had been injured earlier.
Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 16 settlements in the region with missiles, guided aerial bombs and various types of drones. Residential buildings, businesses, transport facilities and power transmission lines were damaged.
In Mykolaiv Oblast, a Russian FPV drone struck a bus carrying workers from a company in the Kutsurub hromada. A 69-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman were injured. They were taken to hospital in a stable condition with moderate injuries. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Russian forces also launched a ballistic missile strike on an open area in the Voznesensk district; early reports indicate that an Iskander-M ballistic missile was used. No casualties were reported. Strikes from multiple-launch rocket systems were also recorded in the Ochakiv hromada, again without casualties.
