Qatar was targeted by three cruise missiles launched from Iran, one of which struck an oil tanker, Qatar’s defence ministry said.
The ministry said in a post on X that it intercepted two of the missiles, while the third hit a tanker leased to Qatar Energy.
"Procedures were implemented, and coordination was established with relevant authorities to evacuate the tanker, which had a crew of 21, without any casualties," the ministry said.
