In early March, the destruction caused the previous week by an Iranian missile strike in south Tel Aviv was evident in and around the impact site. Broken shutters and windows, sent flying by the force of the blast on Yehuda Halevi Street, still lay on the sidewalks of many nearby streets. Municipal workers collected the debris. Residents who had been evacuated from damaged buildings returned to gather belongings for hotels. Others walked with their children near the neighborhood shelter.
