Russia attacks with ballistic missiles and 164 drones: missile and nearly 150 UAVs downed
Ukraine repelled a Russian nighttime attack, shooting down 149 drones and one missile as the Russians launched 11 missiles and 164 UAVs.

Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles and 164 attack UAVs of the Shahed type, including jet-powered models, as well as with Gerbera, Italmas and Parodiya decoy drones, on the night of 4-5 May.

Details: Early reports indicate that as of 09:00, Ukraine's air defence had shot down or jammed one ballistic missile and 149 Russian UAVs across Ukraine's north, south, east and centre.
Eight ballistic missiles and 14 attack UAVs struck targets at 14 locations, while debris from intercepted targets fell at 10 locations. Two ballistic missiles failed to reach their targets, with details still being confirmed.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare assets, unmanned systems units and mobile fire groups from Ukraine's defence forces.
The attack is ongoing, with several Russian UAVs still in the airspace.
