Russian attack on high-rise building in Kharkiv: five injured, including two children

Russian forces carried out a drone strike on Kharkiv's Industrialnyi district on the evening of 9 May, during the so-called truce, hitting a nine-storey residential building. Five people were injured, including twoeight-year-old boys.
Details:Syniehubov reported that the Russians struck Kharkiv's Industrialnyi district with a UAV. A hit was recorded on a nine-storey residential building.
He later said that aneight-year-old boywas suffering from shockas a result of the strike, and medics were providing the child with the necessary assistance.
Syniehubovspecifiedthat the Russian drone had hitaplant roominthe residential building. Emergency services are currently dealing with the aftermath of the attack.
Meanwhile, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said that the strike on the plant roomhaddamaged the lift shaft and shattered around 30 windows. Inspections of the building are ongoing.
Later, the number of those who sustained injuries in the attack rose to three. Doctors diagnosed all of themas suffering from shock.
At 23:18, Syniehubov reported that anothereight-year-old boywas suffering from shock as a result ofthe Russian strike on Kharkiv's Industrialnyi district, bringing the number of injured to four.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said a1,000-for-1,000 prisoner swapwould take place on 9 May and confirmed the US president's announcement regarding a ceasefire with Russia on 9-11 May.
