Update:Yaroslav Shanko, Head of Kherson City Military Administration, later reported that the number of people injured had risen to seven.
"A 19-year-old girl, three women aged 68, 50 and 43 and three men aged 71, 63 and 51 have been taken to hospital. They all have suffered blast injuries and closed head injuries as well as multiple shrapnel wounds to their arms, legs and torsos," he said.
Shanko later added that the 51-year-old bus driver is in a serious condition.
"The man sustained multiple abdominal and leg wounds. The hospital is fighting to save his life. The remaining six injured civilians are in a moderate condition," Shanko reported.
The oblast military administration subsequently added that the number of people injured in the attack had risen to nine.
A 59-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury and concussion and was taken to hospital. A 56-year-old woman also sustained a mine-blast injury and a fragmentation wound to the head and will receive outpatient treatment.
