The Navy established five new program acquisition executives as the service continues to reform how it buys and sustains platforms and equipment, officials told reporters Monday. Navy Secretary John Phelan announced the creation of five new program acquisition executives after standing up the first new office, PAE robotic and autonomous systems, in December.  Chris Miller, the current executive director of Naval Sea Systems Command, will lead PAE Maritime while Vice Adm. Robert Gaucher will lead PAE undersea, in addition to his role as the direct reporting portfolio manager (DRPM) for submarines. Vice Adm. Jim Downey will lead PAE Industrial Operations
