The Ukrainian military has struck key facilities at the Russian-occupied Mariupol Sea Commercial Port, further disrupting Moscow’s military logistics in the southern occupied territories.
The Unmanned Systems Forces said on Facebook that the operation was carried out in coordination with the National Guard’s 1st Corps “Azov,” the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and the Special Operations Center “A.”

According to the statement, the port had been actively used by Russian forces for military supply operations, as well as the illegal export of Ukrainian grain, coal, and metals to Russia.
The strike damaged energy, repair, and administrative infrastructure, along with facilities supporting port logistics. Following the attack, the port was left without electricity, significantly limiting its operational capacity.
“Russia’s ability to use Mariupol as a logistics hub has been substantially reduced,” the forces said.
Mariupol, occupied since 2022, has become a key Russian logistical node for moving personnel and resources across southern Ukraine.
Separately, Ukraine’s General Staff s confirmed earlier strikes on the same port area. On June 5, 2026, eight fuel storage tanks were destroyed and nine others damaged, according to updated assessments released on June 9.
