Over the past 24 hours, 148 combat engagements took place between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops, with the enemy attacking the most in the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka, and Huliaipole sectors.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, releasing operational information as of 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 22.
The enemy carried out 79 airstrikes, dropping 265 guided bombs. Additionally, it deployed 8,379 kamikaze drones and fired 3,587 rounds at populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 73 rounds from multiple launch rocket systems.
The Russian army carried out airstrikes, particularly in the areas of the following settlements: Velykomykhailivka, Ivanivka, Pidhavrylivka, and Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region, as well as Tersianka, Nove Pole, Samiilivka, Huliaipilske, Rivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Zalyvne, Kopani, Shyroke, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Veselianka, Pokrovske, and Orikhove in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The Air Force, Rocket Forces, and Artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, as well as one enemy UAV command post.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the Russians carried out 124 attacks on Ukrainian military positions and populated areas, including 14 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). They conducted two airstrikes using seven guided bombs. Six combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy made eight attempts to break through the Ukrainian defensive lines in the areas of Prylipka, Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsia, Okhrimivka, and Synelnykove.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched five attacks toward Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Pishchane, and Hlushivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy attacked five times, attempting to breach Ukrainian defenses by attacking in the Serednie area and toward Lyman, Stavky, and Dibrova.
In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled seven Russian attempts to advance in the areas of Platonivka, Zakitne, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attempted to improve its position in the Chasiv Yar area.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russians carried out 17 attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Yablunivka, Sofiivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Stepanivka, Illinivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 assaults by the Russian Federation’s army in the areas of the settlements of Shakhove, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward the settlements of Nove Shakove, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, and Novopavlivka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked six times in the areas of Ternove, Zlahoda, and Krasnohirske.
In the Huliaipole sector, there were 13 Russian attacks toward the settlements of Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Staroukrainka, Olenokostiantynivka, Zelene, Charivne, and Myrne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled one Russian attack toward Prymorske.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the enemy launched one unsuccessful attack against Ukrainian defenders.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groups have been detected.
As reported by Ukrinform, the total combat losses of Russian troops from February 24, 2022, to March 22, 2026, in the war against Ukraine amount to approximately 1,287,880 personnel, including 940 personnel over the past 24 hours.
