Details: Sobyanin said the attacks on Moscow had begun at around 02:30. He reported that Russian air defence systems were responding and claimed that drones had been downed.

Temporary restrictions were introduced at Moscow's Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Sheremetyevo airports, with arrivals and departures taking place only after receiving permission from the aviation authorities.

Sobyanin claimed that 36 drones had been intercepted as of 05:20 (Kyiv time).

Quote from Sobyanin: "Emergency services are working at the sites where the drone debris fell."

Details: Meanwhile, monitoring Telegram channels reported a large-scale drone attack on the Azot chemical plant in Novomoskovsk in Tula Oblast. Explosions and the sound of drones flying overhead were being heard in the city for several hours.

Local residents also reported a strong smell of ammonia in the air and power supply disruptions.

Milyaev later confirmed that the oblast had come under a drone attack.

Strikes were also reported in temporarily occupied Crimea. Explosions were heard near the Kerch ferry crossing, after which residents reported the smell of smoke in the air.

For reference: Azot is one of Russia's largest chemical plants. Its main products include mineral fertilisers, ammonia, nitric acid, methanol and other chemical materials. In addition, the plant is used to produce raw materials supplied to military factories for the manufacture of explosives and ammunition.
