In Odesa, three people were injured as a result of a strike by Russian invaders on a public transport stop.
According to Ukrinform, Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“In Odesa, we currently know of three victims who were near a public transport stop. Medical personnel assess the condition of two of them as serious,” the message states.
Kiper added that the bus stop complex and several minibusses were damaged at the scene.
Additionally, according to the regional head, a private residential building in the Odesa district was destroyed and engulfed in flames due to enemy shelling. In addition, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged.
Earlier, the head of the Odesa City Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, reported on Telegram that the enemy had attacked Odesa. “Preliminary reports indicate two casualties. People were waiting for transport at the stop. They were hospitalized with shrapnel wounds,” he noted.
As Oleh Kiper, head of the regional state administration, noted at the time, one of the victims was hospitalized.
A woman born in 1961 sustained multiple shrapnel wounds. Medical professionals assess her condition as critical. Doctors are providing the victim with all necessary medical care.
Law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and municipal services are working at the scene.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of June 7, in the Odesa region, infrastructure, residential buildings, and two trucks were damaged as a result of an attack by Russian drones.
