After 50 days, elementary school students at Kibbutz Kfar Giladi returned. 'Of course we missed it,' one girl says. Parents are anxious: 'This war ended the way it started. There still isn't enough security here. It's a feeling of distrust'
Members of Kibbutz Kfar Giladi's security squad positioned themselves at the elementary school at 6:50 A.M. Just before the students' return after 50 days, the squad was tasked with making sure the campus was free of missile fragments and unexploded ordnance. "It's already become routine, after every war," says Yamin Rahamim, a physical education teacher at the school.
