In the Kyiv region, emergency services extinguished a fire covering an area of 4,000 square meters that broke out as a result of a Russian attack on an infrastructure facility.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
While fighting the fire, rescue workers operated under extremely difficult conditions—in extremely high temperatures and under the constant threat of further strikes.
Rescuers from the Kyiv region and Kyiv, units of the State Emergency Service’s combined detachment, the local fire department, the fire service of Boryspil International Airport, and three fire trains were all involved in the cleanup efforts.
As reported by Ukrinform, Air Defense Forces intercepted two Kh-59/69 precision-guided missiles and 111 drones used by Russian invaders to attack Ukraine beginning on the evening of July 10.
