Iran has submitted documentation of attacks on civilians to international bodies, including the International Criminal Court and the International Committee of the Red Cross, according to Pir-Hossein Kolivand, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.

Kolivand said the ICC prosecutor had accepted the submitted documents as official evidence and that cases are being examined under international humanitarian law.

He added that the Red Cross had also been engaged following continued consultations.
