Sirens sound in Bahrain following earlier Iranian strikes on U.S. military infrastructure, the Interior Ministry said.
Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned Britain's ambassador in Tehran on Thursday to protest against what it called "baseless accusations" that Tehran was involved in security-related activities in Britain, state media reported.
The move follows Britain's decision to summon Iran's charge d'affaires in London on Tuesday after two Romanian nationals were jailed over the 2024 stabbing of a British-Iranian journalist. Britain said the attack was carried out on behalf of the Iranian state, an assertion Tehran has rejected.
The ministry's Director General for Western Europe, Alireza Yousefi, handed the ambassador a written protest note, accusing London of "deflection" and urging it to stop hosting what Tehran described as "terrorist networks" targeting Iran.
Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani told Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in a phone call on Thursday that Iran and the United States should commit to diplomacy.
Al-Thani added that Washington and Tehran should implement the signed memorandum of understanding to end the war.
Iran launched drones towards a site in Qatar earlier on Thursday and a Qatari tanker was attacked in the Strait of Hormuz earlier the week. Al-Thani condemned the attack in the call, the foreign ministry said.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said that Israeli forces will "continue to remain" in the IDF-controlled security zone in Lebanon "until Hezbollah is disarmed," adding, "We did not ask for permission from anyone to enter Lebanon, and we do not need permission to remain in Lebanon."
"Thanks to the decisions of political leadership, the determination of the IDF command, the fortitude and heroism of IDF soldiers, and the resilience of the residents of the north – we have established a strong security zone in Lebanon, from the sea in the west to The Beaufort complex and the foothills of Mount Hermon in the east, which will be cleared of residents and terrorist infrastructure below and above ground," he said.
A group of Israeli members of a movement calling to settle in Syria crossed into its territory and stayed there overnight into Thursday through Mount Hermon in Israel's north.
The Pioneers of the Bashan movement, named after a biblical-era region situated in modern-day Jordan and Syria, said this was a "major step toward civilian settlement" and "permanent control" in Syria, adding that the group had informed IDF troops in advance that they would infiltrate Syrian territory but did not give their exact location.

The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said on Wednesday that its forces completed an additional round of strikes against Iran.
U.S. forces struck approximately 90 Iranian military targets, which included air defense systems, coastal surveillance assets, missile and drone storage sites, naval capabilities, and military logistics infrastructure along Iran's coastline, according to CENTCOM.
The U.S. Central Command had said earlier on Tuesday it completed a new round of strikes on Iran and that it had struck more than 80 targets during its latest attacks.

"We did not ask anyone's permission to enter Lebanon, and we do not need permission to stay in Lebanon," Katz stated.
US officials believe the conflict could last from several days to weeks, depending on whether Iran continues attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, Axios reported.
"I just don't know if they're worthy of making a deal," Trump told reporters on Air Force One after the NATO summit in Turkey. "I don't know that they're going to honor the deal; that's the problem."
