Israel's military said it launched strikes across southern Lebanon on Thursday, hours before US-brokered talks between the two countries were set to begin in Washington.
The wounded were evacuated to Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for treatment.
New capability would reduce reliance on aerial refueling and improve operational flexibility in long-range missions. But it remains unclear if it would affect aircraft's stealth capabilities
The event, which took place near the Old City walls, drew approximately 30 senior diplomats from 15 countries.
