Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon have killed at least five people and wounded others, as air raids and artillery bombardment intensify.
Lebanon’s National News Agency reported that an Israeli strike on the town of Ma’raka killed three people, while a separate raid on Tayr Dibba killed two more.
Israeli warplanes, backed by artillery fire, have continued to hit multiple areas, including al-Housh east of Tyre, Tibnin, Kafr Dunin, al-Sultaniyah, Sahmar, al-Sarirah, al-Qatrani, al-Qalilah, Nabatiyeh al-Fawqa, al-Haniyah, Ain Baal and Batouliyeh, as well as Zalaya in the western Bekaa.
Strikes remain ongoing, with bombardment reported in Haddatha, Toulene, Aitaroun, Mays al-Jabal and Wadi al-Hujair.
