Russia downs more than 330 Ukrainian drones overnight; apartment building damaged, oil refinery catches fire

Debris from Ukrainian drones struck an apartment building in Krasnodar overnight on June 11, Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said. The falling debris sparked a fire in the building, injuring two people.

In the Seversky district, several private homes sustained damage and one person was injured.

The Krasnodar Krai operations center also reported that drones had struck the Afipsky oil refinery, igniting a fire that was subsequently extinguished.

The Telegram channel Astra analyzed videos and photographs posted on social media and reported that the damaged residential building sits less than 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from two military facilities and 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from a military airfield.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 330 Ukrainian drones overnight, shooting them down over the Bryansk, Kursk, Belgorod, Oryol, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tula, Tver, and Vladimir regions, as well as Krasnodar Krai, the Moscow region, occupied Crimea, and the Black and Azov seas.
