In the Shostka district of the Sumy region, a fire truck caught fire after the enemy launched a second strike on the area where rescuers were working. None of the rescuers was injured.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
“In the Shostka district, a fire truck caught fire as a result of a second Russian strike on the firefighting site. The rescuers were not injured,” the statement reads.
It is noted that due to combined shelling in Sumy, residential areas were damaged and six people were injured.
“Rescuers evacuated more than 50 residents from the damaged building, extinguished fires, and surveyed the area,” the State Emergency Service added.
As reported by Ukrinform, the enemy struck the Sumy community this morning, injuring six people.
