Russia's war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,190 over past day

Russia's total combat losses since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, have reached approximately 1,408,340 personnel, including 1,190 soldiers killed and wounded in action over the past 24 hours. 

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

Since the beginning of the invasion, Russian forces have also lost 12,074 tanks (+1), 24,869 armored combat vehicles (+6), 45,325 artillery systems (+100), 1,913 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 1,469 air defense systems (+6), 436 aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,815 ground robotic systems (+6), 389,110 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,768), 4,847 cruise missiles (+1), 33 warships/boats, 2 submarines, 115,644 vehicles and fuel tankers (+407), and 4,385 units of special equipment (+5).

The figures are being updated.

As Ukrinform reported, as of 22:00 on July 3, 225 combat engagements had taken place between Ukraine's Defense Forces and Russian invading troops along the front line. The enemy made its most intensive attempts to attack in the Sloviansk and Kostiantynivka sectors.
