In the Sumy region, two people were killed, and four others were wounded over the past 24 hours as a result of enemy shelling.
According to Ukrinform, the Sumy Regional Police reported this on Telegram.
“Over the past 24 hours, 17 communities in the Sumy region came under enemy fire. The enemy used guided aerial bombs, attack UAVs, FPV drones, artillery, and mortars,” the statement said.
In the Bilopillia community, a 64-year-old woman was killed and two men, aged 51 and 66, were wounded as a result of enemy drone strikes. In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 57-year-old woman was killed when a Russian UAV struck a house.
In the Myropil community, a 69-year-old man was injured when a drone struck his bicycle. In the Sumy community, a 44-year-old man was injured by an enemy drone strike.
In the Bilopillia, Sumy, Myropil, Seredyna-Buda, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shostka, Putyvl, Nova Sloboda, and other communities, residential buildings, farm structures, vehicles, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.
Police investigative and search teams, along with bomb disposal experts, worked at the sites of the incidents. Law enforcement officers documented the consequences of the attacks, recorded the destruction, and collected evidence of war crimes committed by the Russian Federation. Criminal proceedings have been opened for each incident under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, two people were killed, and 16 were injured in the Sumy region on June 12 as a result of Russian attacks.
