After a prolonged pause, the Ukrainian Air Force has reported the first launch of a Russian attack drone despite the Easter truce declared on 11 April. [The Air Force is referring specifically to the use of missiles, guided aerial bombs and long-range strike drones against civilian targets: there had been earlier reports of numerous Russian ceasefire violations with first-person view (FPV) drone strikes, assaults and artillery fire – ed.]

Details: After 09:00, the Air Force reported that Russia had launched a drone towards Sumy.
This was the first report of an attack in nearly 18 hours since the Russians announced that the ceasefire had come into effect.
Due to the absence of attacks, the Air Force did not report any overnight Russian strikes on the morning of 12 April.
Background:
On the night of Orthodox Easter, the Russians struck an ambulance with a drone, injuring three medics.
Late on Saturday evening, the General Staff reported that there had been 469 recorded violations of the ceasefire regime by Russian forces after 16:00, when the truce was due to take effect.
