On the night of July 10, Russian troops launched an airstrike on the village of Shabelkivka in the Donetsk region, killing two people.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Facebook.
“Overnight, Russian troops carried out an airstrike on the residential area of the village of Shabelkivka in the Kramatorsk community. The enemy attack destroyed a residential building where people were inside,” the statement reads.
During rescue operations, the bodies of the two victims were recovered.
In total, rescuers cleared away two metric tons of debris. The operation has now been completed.
In addition, the strike caused fires in another residential building, a garage, and three cars. Rescuers quickly extinguished all the fires, which covered a total area of 136 square meters.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 9, the Russian army killed one resident of the Donetsk region, and 10 others were wounded.
