Ukrainian drones struck Russia’s Krasnodar region overnight on April 9, killing one person, the region’s governor, Veniamin Kondratiev, said.
A man standing on the balcony of an apartment building in the village of Sauk-Dere in the Krymsk District was killed when debris from a downed drone fell on him, Kondratiev said. Fragments from other destroyed drones fell in a field on the outskirts of Krymsk and on the grounds of a local enterprise, he said, adding that there were no other casualties or damage.
The strike hit the Krymskaya linear production and dispatch station in Krymsk, an oil pipeline infrastructure facility that is part of the trunk pipeline system, the independent Telegram channel Astra reported, citing video footage of a fire in the Krasnodar Territory. The Ukrainian Telegram channel Exilenova+ also reported an attack on the station.
